Some things that are annoying!

1. Voicemail that takes 5 minutes before getting a live person

2. Email "free" offers that are impossible to get because you have to go through never ending 'offers"

3. How the COMMERCIALS on TV get super LOUD.

4. People who talk too slow and/or don't get to the point

Movie review: Son of the Mask

Manny picked this one. From what I had seen I wasn't expecting much from this movie but it FAR exceeded my expectations!

It was REALLY good. MUCH better even then the first movie. This one was completely different and very creative with lots of great special effects and a very good plot/storyline (well not academy award winning plot or anything but entertaining).

I think for us the movie was made better because it centered around the basic theme of father/son love and the story was mainly centered around the cutest little baby boy who happens to be slightly younger then my son right now. so it had a big cuteness factor and a lot of "awwwwww" moments.

Throw in a great Halloween party scene and that is always a BIG plus for me, especially at this time of year-- and its my favorite holiday.

We liked how the story centered around the actual Norse gods and myths so it added a whole new dimension of fantasy to the film that the 1st film lacked.

I highly recommend this DVD. Its also great for kids and Shayna loved it...BUT its not one of those movies adults hate either. best of both worlds!

Quote from Boston Legal TV Show

One of our favorite TV shows is Boston Legal starring William Shatner and James Spader. We have been watching it since the very first show last season. I noticed a change in format this season where the show now centers around the Shatner/Spader characters...which is fine since they are both so funny. I noticed one of the main characters/actress from last season is now the star of another show I like, "Surface." Also missing is the blonde lawyer from last season replaced by a new blonde. Always the token blonde in any given show.

Anyway...as shows go this one has some of the best one liners. Tonight it was spoken by a guest actress playing a D.A. in trial against Spader's character. During her trial closing speech, she says:

"Law and Order isn't simply something found on TV 4 nights a week."

Not only was it a hilarious rip on a competing show which is completely overplayed, but Boston Legal is on at the same EXACT time as one of the too numerous "Law & Order" shows!!!!
