Is your house alive?

We had our house appraised last Friday. The appraiser, Matt, struck up a friendly conversation with Manny and I. He said he has a 5mo daughter and he could relate to all the baby stuff, toys, gate, and general look of a house with baby/children. he was saying how he had just been to a HUGE house, a 40 something couple with NO children. He said you could tell there were rooms that hadn't had the bed used ever (guestrooms). These homes appear dead and lifeless, in contrast to a home like ours that is alive, being fully utilised and filled with family.

Family is really worth more than all the riches in the world.

Shayna and I just saw the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" last weekend. It just so happens that was the theme of the movie.

Blockbuster membership

Since we now have an unlimited Blockbuster membership, I see a lot more DVDs now. Of the movies we have seen the two that I would recommend seeing are the Village and White Noise. Both were very creative and original.

Creation

I created this to put any miscellaneous thoughts that I would like to keep for myself and/or share with others.

Maybe to use someday in my dream of writing a book....
